Grace S. (Mulhall) Marracino

Grace S. (Mulhall) Marracino, 76, of Torrington, CT, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Valerie Manor. She was the beloved wife of Nicholas Marracino for 57 years.
Grace was born July 26, 1938, in New York, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Mulhall. She was employed by J. C. Penney as a Sales Clerk until her retirement. She enjoyed golfing, as well as cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great granddaughter.
In addition to her husband, Nick, she is survived by one son, Robert Marracino of Torrington; two daughters, Sheryl Dorie of Winsted, Laura Mottai of New Hartford; seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Marracino.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015, with the cortege leaving at 9:00 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 160 Main St., Torrington for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in St. Francis Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
