Gladys (Crovo) Martinotti

Gladys (Crovo) Martinotti, 85, of Torrington, CT, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022.  She was the beloved wife of Robert Martinotti for 64 years.

Gladys was born June 13, 1937, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Armand and Delia (Minetto) Crovo.  A graduate of Torrington High School and the New Britain School of Nursing, she was employed by Charlotte Hungerford Hospital as an Emergency Room nurse until her retirement.  She was a member of the American Nurses Association and of Beta Signa Phi.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Robert Martinotti and his wife Tracy of Harwinton, CT; a daughter Carol Finn and her husband Patrick of Torrington, CT; seven grandchildren, Olivia Martinotti, Robert Martinotti, Thomas Martinotti and Casandra Martinotti, Maggie Finn and her husband Matthew Barnes, Kevin Finn, Connor Finn, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Crovo and Clement Crovo.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Valerie Manor for their compassion in caring for Gladys.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, CT.
