Gisela (Balz) DiLuzio
March 6, 1930 — November 20, 2017
Gisela (Balz) DiLuzio, 87, a lifelong resident of New Britain, CT, peacefully passed away on November 20, 2017, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital with her daughter by her side. She was the wife of the late Gino DiLuzio.
Gisela was born March 6, 1930, in Germany, daughter of the late Wilhelm and Elisa Bolz. A homemaker devoted to her family, she was a lifelong member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by one son, Mark DiLuzio, and his wife Joanne of Charlotte, NJ, one daughter, Susan Mohsin of Torrington, three grandchildren, Jon Segarra, Amanda Segarra, Dustin DiLuzio, and two great grandchildren, Daniel Fazzina and Alexis Rivera. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Tony Fazzina, Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 234 Farmington Avenue, Berlin, CT 06037. There are no calling hours. Burial is private.
