Gilbert J. Madore

Gilbert J. Madore, 58, of Torrington, CT, unexpectedly passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, at UConn Medical Center. 

Gilbert was born September 24, 1965, in Torrington, CT, the son of the late Adrien and Henriette (Gilbert) Madore. He was employed by Martel Transportation as a Bus Driver and also for many years at Stone Container and All-Star Transportation.

He loved riding his Harley on long drives, relaxing with his dogs and an occasional canoe ride. 

He is survived by two sisters, Linda Austin of Northfield, CT and her husband Mark and son Charles and Irene Madore and her partner Stuart Schuyler of Torrington, CT, many cousins and two aunts and uncles as well as many friends he made throughout his lifetime.
