Geraldine (Booth) Hudson, 82, of Torrington, CT, died August 26, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in Attleboro, MA.
She was born March 28, 1932, in St. Thomas, Jamaica, daughter of the late Cyril and Dorothy (Murray) Booth. She was employed by Kimberly Clark and later was a Home Health Aide, until her retirement.
She is survived by eleven children, Marlene Effs and her husband Edgar of Torrington, Shirley Mattos of Plainfield, NJ, Pauline Anderson of Scarborough Ontario, Canada, Renford Hudson of Torrington, Noel and Patricia Hudson of Hartford, Barbara Hudson of Torrington, Dahlia Tumavicus and her husband John of Attleboro, MA, Winston Hudson and his wife Oxana, Torrington, Cleveland Hudson of Hartford, Maxine Hudson of Torrington, Colleen Hudson of Tunxisville, CT; one sister, Federica Cox of Brookyn, NY; 22 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Herbert Booth.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. at Harvest Baptist Church, 1440 Litchfield Turnpike, New Hartford, CT 06057. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, 76 Walnut St., Torrington, CT.
