Florence Stentiford

Florence (Pulica) Stentiford, 93, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arthur B. Stentiford, Jr.

Florence was born March 8, 1932, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Evo and Anna (Weingart) Pulica. She was employed by Timex until her retirement.

She is survived by two sons, Stephen Loyot of Torrington, CT, Arthur Stentiford of Maine; two daughters, Sandra Dunn and Brenda Morris both of Torrington, CT; five grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Pulica, one sister, Ethel Wald and one grandchild, Laura Stentiford.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
