Eric A. Murphy
August 31, 1967 — February 6, 2015
Eric A. Murphy, 47, of Torrington, CT, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Rachel (Esposito) and devoted father to Jordan and Logan.
Eric was born August 31, 1967, in Norwalk, CT, and served his country with the US Navy as a Seabee, stationed at Port Huemene, CA, and also San Diego, CA. He was employed by Hobby Lobby in Bristol. He was a Master Carpenter, and an avid motorcyclist. An incredible husband, and adoring father, Eric’s legacy will live on through the gift of tissue donation.
In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his mother, Hazel Morgado and his father, Richard Payne; three brothers, Richard Payne, Andrew Payne, Joseph Dousky and one sister, Kristy Evatt.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass which will be celebrated on Friday, February 13, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 78 Litchfield Road, Harwinton, CT. There are no calling hours.
