Elizabeth (Conlon) Holmes, 90, passed away on January 7, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford, CT.
Born on November 27, 1926, in Riverton, CT, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Eleanor (Dearborn) Conlon. Elizabeth’s passion in life was her children. She was a loving mother who cared very deeply about her children. Elizabeth was predeceased by a son, Theodore Holmes, Jr.
She is survived by a son Edward Holmes (Liz) of Enfield, CT; a daughter Kathy Moffat (David) of New Bern, NC; grandsons Bernard Holmes (Darleen) of Torrington, Daniel Holmes, serving in the U.S. Navy, Mark Holmes (Melissa) of Windsor, CT, granddaughter, Janell Lauritzen (Jason) of Houston, TX. Elizabeth is also survived by great grandson Bernard Holmes, Jr. of Waterbury, CT, and great great grandson, Teddy Holmes of Torrington, CT. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at St. Francis New Cemetery, Torrington.
