Elizabeth (Yurashus) Boccio

Elizabeth (Yurashus) Boccio, 84, of Torrington, CT, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020, at Valerie Manor.

Elizabeth was born April 10, 1936, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth (Skuba) Yurashus.  She was a Teacher employed by the Torrington Board of Education until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Cynthia Wilcox.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.   Entombment will follow at the Mausoleum at St. Francis new cemetery.  Relatives and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  All relatives and friends in attendance must follow CDC recommendations for COVID prevention -- social distancing and wear protective face masks.  Condolences may be sent to the Boccio family by visiting www.cookfuneralhomect.com
