Elaine M. (Parducci) Landucci

Elaine M. Landucci, 90, formerly of Torrington, CT passed away on February 26, 2017, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Mark Greene, surrounded by her loving children. She was the wife of the late Peter N. Landucci.

Elaine was born on September 2, 1926, in Torrington, daughter of Cherubino and Julia (Giambastiani) Parducci.  She attended Torrington Public Schools and after raising her family, she worked as a nurse’s aide at the Fernwood Rest Home and later at Rose Haven Nursing Home. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and reading but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a devout Catholic and a lifelong communicant of St. Peter’s Church. She was gentle, kind and exceedingly loving.  She will be greatly missed by her children, her grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her daughter, Rita M. Greene and son-in-law Mark Greene of Waterbury, CT; her son, Nicholas Landucci of Arvada, Colorado; her son Stephen Landucci and his wife, Susan of Bailey, Colorado; her son Mark Landucci and his wife Donna of Torrington. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christopher Landucci and Kate Landucci, and her step-grandchildren, Rebecca West and Jared Moran , and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Peter N. Landucci; her grandson, Garrett Landucci; her brothers Angelo Parducci and Peter Parducci; and her sisters, Mary DiLullo, Victoria Tromba and Sr. Eufemia Parducci, MPF.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to hospitalist, Dr. Albert Langou and the 5th floor staff of Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  Also to nurse Sam Carter of Hartford Healthcare at Home – Hospice Care, and home health aide, Millie.  A special thanks to home health aide, Marlyn for her superb and compassionate care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 3, 2017, at 10:00 am at St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at the church.  There are no calling hours.
