Edward G. Nuhn

Edward G. Nuhn, 72, of Torrington, CT, passed away Monday, March 28, 2022.

Born October 26, 1949, in Torrington, CT, he was the son of the late Adolph and Helen (Savoia) Nuhn. He was a graduate of the Torrington High School Class of 1968. Ed then enlisted and served his country with the U.S. Air Force. After receiving his honorable discharge, he returned home and was employed by Patterson Oil Company as a Credit Manager for 34 years until his retirement. He was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by Anna Nuhn, as well as their daughter, Michelle Binelli, and her husband David, as well as a grandson Dante Binelli and a granddaughter Maia Binelli; sisters-in-laws, Linda Nuhn of Cromwell, Ida Molitor of Torrington & her husband, Paul Molitor, Antoinette Rinaldi of Torrington & her husband, Michael Rinaldi Sr., Linda Rinaldi of Harwinton & her husband, Carlo Rinaldi & was preceded in death by another sister-in-law, Nancy Calabrese of Torrington & her late husband, Frank Calabrese Sr. Ed also leaves behind several nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Nuhn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Church, 99 East Main St., Torrington, CT. Relatives and friends are asked to meet directly at St. Peter Church. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, Torrington, CT with full military final honors accorded. There are no calling hours.
