Edward J. Haberern
July 18, 1927 — February 22, 2015
Edward J. Haberern, 87, of Torrington, passed away on February 22, 2015, at Valerie Manor. He was born July 18, 1927 to the late Jacob and Mary (Kuchta) Haberern and he was the beloved husband of the late Evelyn (Wright) Haberern.
Ed served his country in the United States Army as a topographic draftsman. Employed as a supervisor with Northeast Utilities, he was a member of the American Legion, the Elks, the V.F. W. and the N.R.A.
He is survived by his sons Gary Haberern of New Hartford and Richard Haberern of Canton; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Valerie Manor and all the caregivers who have helped both Edward and Evelyn.
