Edna M. (Durling) Sileo

Edna M. Sileo, 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Born in Buxton, Maine, on August 11, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Madeline (Pierce) Durling. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Sileo, Sr.
Edna worked at T.R. W. in Winsted in Quality Control until her retirement. Among her activities, Edna loved to dance; she loved gardening and was a wonderful cook. She was very special to her family and will be greatly missed by them.
She is survived by her children, Roger W. Alley (Joelle) of Wynantskill, New York, Donna Travaglin (Burt Cyr) of Terryville, CT, Susan Ellis of Torrington, CT and Kim Plante (Paul) of Colebrook, CT. She also leaves six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington. Calling hours will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
