Dr. Eva (Fechner) Wantuch

Eve Wantuch (nee Fechner), 82, of Farmington, CT, died in her sleep on July 26, 2017 after a brief illness.

Dr. Wantuch grew up in Teaneck, NJ, graduated from Barnard College, and earned her doctorate in Psychology from the New School in New York City.  She enjoyed a long and distinguished career in Connecticut as a Psychotherapist, specializing in anxiety disorders and phobias.  In her retirement, she remained active, interested in travel, old movies and gardening.

She is survived by a brother, Martin Fechner, M.D., who lives in Oradell, NJ.
