Doris J. (Dalla Valle) Geer

Doris J. (Dalla Valle) Geer, 95, of Colebrook, CT, peacefully passed away at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on April 3, 2023.  She was the wife of the late Roger Geer.

Doris was born March 18, 1928, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Sutowski) Dalla Valle.

She enjoyed playing bingo, making jigsaw puzzles, and solving crossword puzzles.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandy McDonald and her husband Butch of Colebrook, CT; two brothers Robert Dalla Valle of Torrington, CT, Jack Dalla Valle of Florida;  one sister Diane Schapp  and her husband Charlie of Torrington, CT, one granddaughter Becky McDonald Encao and her husband Anthony Encao; one great grandson, Nick Encao, as well as several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Meyer and Mary Tino.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the United Congregational Church, 1622 Torringford St., Torrington, CT 06790.  There are no calling hours.
