Domenic L. Rinaldi

Domenic L. Rinaldi, 78, of Torrington, CT, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Litchfield Woods. He was the husband of the late Diane (Poniatowski) Rinaldi.

Domenic was born December 15, 1938, in Torrington, CT, son of the late Louis and Christine (DeFrancisco) Rinaldi.  He was employed by the City of Torrington as a Police Officer until his retirement.   He was a member of the Sons of Italy and the Veneta Society.

He is survived by two sons, Leonard Rinaldi and Kenny Rinaldi both of Torrington; his companion and friend, Marlene Sullivan of Torrington; one sister, Kathy Rinaldi of Torrington; three grandchildren, Kyle, Jessica and Nicole, as well as several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Dale Rinaldi.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington.  Relatives and friends may call from 7:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home.  Burial will be private.
