Diana (Rulli) Chasse

Diana (Rulli) Chasse, 75, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away September 18, 2020, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Joseph Chasse.

Diana was born September 19, 1944, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Louise (Rendino) Rulli.  She was a graduate of Torrington High School, Class of 1962.  After graduation, she was employed by Aetna Life & Casualty in Hartford, CT, and later had an assortment of jobs from school bus driver for City Bus Lines to Dietary Supervisor at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital for 14 years to a Housekeeper at Rose Haven in Litchfield for 11 years, from where she retired in 2009.

She enjoyed her many trips to Maine with her husband of 28 years, Joe.  They always enjoyed these times.  After retirement, Diana was a longtime volunteer at The Warner Theatre, and the gift shop at CHH and more recently at Friendly Hands Food Bank.  She also enjoyed numerous trips with the Sullivan Senior Center.  Her favorite trips included Mardi Gras and a paddle boat ride down the “Ole Mississippi River”.  She always enjoyed herself wherever she was.

A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at 8:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church (St. John Paul the Great Parish), 160 Main St., Torrington, CT 06790.  At Diana’s request, burial was private at Hillside Cemetery and there were no calling hours.
