Dennis O'Heron

Dennis O’Heron passed away on March 17, 2018.  He was the second son of Paul James O’Heron and Carmelina (Russo) O’Heron.  He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Carol Ann (Latina) O’Heron.  He leaves behind three children, Paul James O’Heron, his wife Lynn and their three children, Kelly, Daniel and Christopher.  Kari Ann Shenk, her husband Les and their two children Hailey and Benjamin.  Dennis Robert O’Heron, his wife Pamela O’Heron and their three children, Devon, Cassidy and Joss.  He loved them all dearly.

Dennis is also survived by a brother Brian and his wife Joyce and a brother-in-law, John Bonetti.  He also left behind several nieces and nephews that he loved and enjoyed very much.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Paula Jean Bonetti.

Dennis spent four years in the United States Air Force.  He met his wife Carol at a YMCA dance and they married shortly after his discharge from the service.  He worked in Manufacturing Management for most of his life, in Torrington and later in Waterbury.  While working in Torrington he represented the Brunswick Company as a member of the Board of Directors of the YMCA and the United Way of Torrington.  Dennis enjoyed working in his garden, UCONN Women’s basketball and spirited political discussions.
