Daniel “Dan” D. Dileo, 80, of Torrington, died August 23, 2014, at the Veterans Hospital in West Haven, CT.
Dan was born on July 10, 1934, in Torrington, CT, son of the late Michael and Mary (Colangelo) Dileo. He served his country with the United States Army, and was the owner of Dileo’s Grove for many years.
He is survived by three sons, Daniel Joseph Dileo of Torrington, Dennis Dileo of Torrington, Thomas Dileo of Winsted; four daughters, June Dileo of Port Orange, FL, Cindy Jock of Torrington, Pamela Royer of Torrington, Jennifer Stevens of Enfield; four brothers, Joseph Dileo of New Hartford, Mauro Dileo of Winsted, Michael Dileo of Jupiter, FL, Bill Dileo of New Hampshire, as well as several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Patsy Dileo, Tony Dileo, Andrew Dileo and one sister, Philomena Pergola.
