Carmen N. (Colaciello) Trobel, 96, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away at her residence on Monday, May 10, 2021. She was the wife of the late Charles Trobel.
Carmen was born September 11, 1924, in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Alexander and Adeline (Baldoni) Colaciello. She was employed by the Torrington Company as an Inspector until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Francis Cabrini Society.
She is survived by one son, Ken Trobel and his wife Karen of Torrington, one granddaughter, Lindsay Trobel, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred Colaciello and Br. Raphael Colaciello of the Franciscan Order.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Church, (St. John Paul the Great Parish) 99 East Main St., Torrington, CT. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Relatives and friends are encouraged to follow CDC recommendations for COVID prevention.
