Barbara Darcey

Barbara Darcey, beloved wife of the late William Darcey, passed away on August 6, 2018, of abdominal cancer.  Barbara was a retired RN who earned her credentials at St. Francis School of Nursing, and obtained an Associate’s Degree from Northwestern Connecticut Community College.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kathleen (husband Randy) and Andrea (husband Alex); her brother, Father Dan; two granddaughters, a step grandson, a niece, a nephew, two aunts, several cousins and many special friends.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home.

Barbara wished to say to her friends and acquaintances, “If I do not see you again, it has been nice knowing you.”  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
