Aurora “Vera” Lucille Persechino, 92, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014, in Stuart, FL.
She was a lifelong resident of Connecticut and worked as a dietary aide at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital for many years. She moved to Florida after the passing of her husband, Mario, in 2003.
She is survived by her daughters Sandy Lauf (Jon) of Venice, FL, Donna Hanauer (Ron) of Stuart, FL and Marlene Brigham of Wethersfield, CT, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A private ceremony was held in Stuart, FL. She will be laid to rest in the mausoleum of St. Peter’s Cemetery with her late husband.
