Assunta "Sue" (Persechino) Donato

Assunta “Sue” Donato passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015, at the age of 92. She was born in Torrington on January 2, 1923 to the late Francesco and Francesca (DiCicco) Persechino and was the spouse of the late Daniel E. Donato.
Sue was employed as a secretary at St. Peter School in Torrington for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Francine Spencer of Litchfield, three grandchildren: Steven Spencer and his girlfriend, Casey Ajello, Janet Donato and fiancé Pierre Blais, and Jaime Baldino and her husband Peter, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Anthony Donato, and her brothers Mario, Jerry, Albert and Paul Persechino.
