Antoinette "Toni" (Russo) Brignolo

Antoinette “Toni” Brignolo, 89, of Torrington, CT, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 27, 2021, in the comfort of her home.  She was the wife of the late Joseph G. Brignolo.

Toni was born February 17, 1932, in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Donata Maria (Romaniello) Russo.  She was employed by the Torrington Company until her retirement.  She was a member of the Sullivan Senior Center and St. Maron’s Church.  She enjoyed the challenge of puzzle books, crochet, cooking, especially her lasagna and eggplant parmesan, and also baking.

She is survived by her four children, Sherry Richards and Donna Prahm of Torrington CT; Shane Brignolo of Jacksonville, FL; Jamie Brignolo of Derby, Vermont; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded by two sisters, Jeanette Murelli and Katy Cateno along with two brothers, William and Thomas Cateno.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to Cook Funeral Home, Torrington, CT.
