Agnes (Marioli) Negruzzi

Agnes (Marioli) Negruzzi, 99, of Torrington, CT, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Litchfield Woods.  She was the wife of the late Giuseppe A. Negruzzi.

Agnes was born July 27, 1924, in Zavattarello, Providence of Pavia, Italy, on July 24, 1924, the daughter of the late Pietro and Mansueta (Abiatati) Marioli and was the oldest of ten children.  She traveled to the United States in 1952 with her family.  She was employed by the Torin Corp. as a machinist, until her retirement in 1967.

She was a lifelong communicant of St. Peter Church, a member of the St. Peter Holy Rosary Society, a past member of the Veneta Society and of the Prince Thomas of Savoy Club in Avon, CT, as well as the Sullivan Senior Center in Torrington, CT.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her son, Paul Negruzzi.  She is survived by her caregivers, Jake and Terrie Jacklin of Torrington and her family in Italy.
